SBEM for Non Domestic and commercial buildings

As Energy Assessors, 3-Saints can provide you with this calculation and provide guidance on where the building should be improved upon to ensure compliance at design stage.  Upon  constrcution, our staff can carry out an onsite inspection and provide the “As Built” SBEM for building control as well as the EPC. All our staff have health and safety CSR cards and are fully equipped with their own PPE.

This assessment is required for new build non-domestic or commercial type properties. It is carried out using approved software at  both design stage and upon construction completion. The calculation is used to ensure that the final building installation complies with building control (Part F in Northern Ireland, Part L in England and Wales) in terms of the building carbon emissions and its energy usage. 
There are many factors taken into consideration in the calculation including:
• Building fabric (U values)
• Construction detailing (air tightness)
• Equipment selection (Boilers, lighting air conditioning)
• Building usage and occupancy
